How has the water feature turned out or is on the “jobs to do” list. I think your feathery friends are very lucky chaps. Most of the cockies have made themselves scarce at the moment, sadly when the fireworks are set off over New Years the poor things will start panicking, and great mobs of them will be seen in the sky looking for a have. You would think that in this day and age they could use laser projection instead of smelly polluting fireworks. I find that after 5 mins I am totally bored as it is the same thing over & over, how many “bang – whoosh – bang” episodes does it take to become boring (there’s my 5 min time span). Sorry if you like them, I hope you get great enjoyment out of the spectacle.
I’m a bit over fireworks myself and can’t even stay awake for them on telly. The water feature hasn’t moved yet – still where I put it a week or so ago. It’s getting a lot of leaf litter in it, so I suppose I will relocate it – probably out in the backyard. The little birds will love it there.

That’s the good thing about a small container, easier to clean.
