The Wednesday Walk this week really is on a Wednesday. There was some lovely sunshine this morning but, by the time I was ready to walk, the clouds had rolled in. Nevertheless, I remained determined to share today’s walk – checking if there were more lambs up the road. So, armed with the Nikon D3000, we set off up the service road.
Across the footbridge and turning left, crossing to the street behind the house with the green fence.
Towards the end of the second block is the much-loved kangaroo fence.
Putting a see more line in here … lots of photos today.
Another left, and some autumn foliage tries to brighten the day.
As we go up a hill, magpies try to ignore us.
Then, over the hill, I see that the sheep are up this end of their paddock, saving us some walking. We turn right, eventually to rejoin the service road and turn for home.
But not until I’ve disturbed these sheep! The lambs were snoozing. No new ones.
Mummy sheep (ewes) are not happy.
But I don’t care. Or do the twins. They’re feeling hungry after their sleep.
Mum has her hands … errr… udder full.
One last shot before we head off.
Back in the service road, one of the small roadside wattles is flowering.
I see a pair of pink-and-grey galahs eating onion grass corms on the roadside, but they fly off.
And that was it. Back over the footbridge, and home.
Thanks for walking with me!
🙂
My pleasure, I assure you ! 🙂
