isn’t there a line attached to the car as well. Amazing things spiders, I go round spraying the red backs, they are always under the fence edges, garden pots and in corners & under kids bikes, not good for little fingers, feel sorry for the others that get hit with the spray. (Am even known to apologize before hand, but don’t tell anyone)
Actually that cobweb strand is just hanging, Sue – or going to the ground. It was probably on the car at one stage. I didn’t notice I had it, too. I have a fascination with dewy cobwebs now. 😀

That is certainly a long strand of web. It must be like jumping off a tall building for the tiny spider.
