Beyond the footbridge

Which way shall we go today?

Left? Follow the beaten track before turning right, beyond that green fence, into Argyle Street.

Straight ahead? If we go this way, we walk on the far side of the service road, Vika may need to do her business.

Today, we did neither. One of our ten minute walks.

This section is a continuation of Kilmore Road. A few more blocks, then up a steep hill, we get to boundary of the town proper. The Road then becomes High Street. Behind me, a block back from the footbridge, the Road is a Highway.

Heathcote is touted as having the longest main street in Victoria.

Down by the Footbridge

I walked the dog late this morning. I lingered in bed, finishing up a module on a marketing course I’m doing on edX. Don’t worry, our space here will not turn into a marketing machine – I have two dot com domains for that. I’m not transferring this blog – I love it here, safe in the WordPress environment.

Today, because the sun was higher, my walking experience differed. The eucalyptus wafting off the gumtrees was spicier. Brighter light filtered through the trees at the footbridge. Plum, hawthorn, oak, gum, to name just a few in this small space.

I’m sending this from my phone. No more internet for me today until I get my tasks done!
