Here is  this weeks photo, taken on the Fujifilm Finepix A607, for Jennifer’s challenge

This is Silver Arch and I think he was named after a real race horse. Dad brought him home from a show when I was an infant. I always considered him mine. Now, I could have taken a new photo, but I like this one which shows what my bookshelf is likely to look like on any given day. The bookshelf has been pulled apart and reconstructed several times since I first built it, but only painted the once.

A blast from the past, fits with the maroon theme. Photo 2008

Holly

I’d probably been walking around all day with the hanger loop hanging out the neckline of my blouse.  Little grand-daughter was barely a week old.

And here is my entry for yet another photo challenge – this time Sunday Stills

For this challenge either intentionally photograph power lines or maybe you have a great pic that was ruined by power lines.

I have eyed these power lines for some time and couldn’t believe my luck to find this challenge. The pattern of the loops in the golden light from the lowering sun fascinates me. Unfortunately I felt like a dork taking the photo so didn’t spend too much time on it. I wish I had. Luckily there was a lull in the traffic for both pics.  Both photos taken yesterday with the FujiFilm Finepiz A607.
