Four days back, while taking Vika for her walk, I noticed a pair of rainbow lorikeets hanging off one of the hollows of the elm tree out front. (The same tree I was panicking about — that branch has not yet split off, but only because it is supported by another underneath it.) Anyway, two mornings and I see them, so yesterday I decided to take the camera out. Not a bird in sight. However, a sudden movement and I swung the camera up, ready for action, and out pops a galah! This morning it was a lorikeet keeping guard on the hole!
