Hello, Janet, I’ve just been visiting your blog to find your name – and it was here all along! I love the snail being upside down too! Fits the oddball theme. 🙂

I looked this way and that. How does he not fall off? Nice closeup.

Geez, Tess, you are starting to make me wonder if I’ve flipped the picture! I know I haven’t, though, because I remember it was facing to my left. 😀 I think.

Oh NO. I’m not doubting you. I think the little critter is amazing. 😀

Hi Tess, I just found this comment in the spam! I did start to wonder if I’d held the camera upside down – as there is really no way of knowing. And then I wondered if I’d been on my knees looking up at it! It got the better of me, so I thought I would go out and identify which brick the snail was on. Lo and behold! on looking down, the very snail and a pal were on the dirt below. So, now I am satisfied it was crawling sideways on the bricks, facing left, and I’m looking down. How’s that for luck. I would hated to have led you all astray. 😀

It’s amazing what we discover when we look hard at something we wouldn’t have ordinarily. This has been an adventure and I thank you for it.

I remember writing a comment a couple of days ago (a day ago?) that disappeared. I guessed it went into spam but don’t recall if it was on your blog. Must have been.

Hi Tess, your comment showed up here to me as a symbols which I thought were supposed to be emoticons. But that vanished and then I spotted you in spam. Sorry about that. ❤

That Nokia did an excellent job, very clear details. Great photo in general. Persistent little devil isn’t he/she.

The Nokia phone takes far better pictures than my FinePix camera, that for sure, Sue. 😀

Thanks Joanne, I love the texture too. And there is even a little black tip in his feeler. I’m pretty pleased with it. 😀

I’m second-guessing myself, But I’m certain I haven’t flipped the photo – the snail was facing to my left. 😀

He looks weather beaten, but the texture is very tactile and comes up perfectly in the photo. Love it!
