Sent from my phone. Nokia camera on auto, cropped, and ‘fixed’ which yellowed the bee a bit. 🙂
NEXT DAY: Adding a second photo – same bee, cropped, but not ‘fixed’ with the magic wand. I’ve never used the wand before, and wanted to see what would happen. You can see he is not as golden. The original of the other photo has vanished, else I would have shown you that. I’ve also cropped the first more, it had a bit too much of the out of focus mint blossom. (I’m standing over the mint, looking down)

You should keep hives, Christine! 🙂

LOL. These bees probably belong to one of the many around here. 🙂

Lovely juicy mint and the bee looks so softly textured. Terrific photo Christine!

That is it: I’m gettin’ me one-a dem fones. And then, when my pics turn out dull, I’ll have to face the obvious:
You simply take very good and interesting pictures. (vs… ahem!)

I used to pooh pooh the idea I had anything do to with it, but all your praise is going to my head! 😀

The ‘magic wand’ made it look cuter, and brought out its furriness. 🙂

Now to work out how to do that without lightening …

I did it and saved without thinking, so the original has gone, and then even this one is in some unknown location on my phone – didn’t upload to my PC with the others. Added another pic of the same bee, just for you. There’s not that much difference! ❤

Great Pic, the bee does look rather odd though.

They are odd looking creatures,Sue. This one looked more golden to the naked eye, too. Most of them have a lot of black on their abdomens.

The bee appears so soft and fuzzy and it looks like a hug-fest. 😀 😀 😀 Fabulous capture.

I love the flower almost as much as the angle of the bee.
