I’m used to the normal jetstreams as we are within 100 kms of the Melbourne airports and jets are low and sometimes circle. I wondered if a plane left a country airport, ran into problems and then circled a few times jettisoning fuel before landing again. The second image shows the full circular motion. If it had of been our ANZAC day I would’ve thought it a flyover but it was a few days later.
Have you had some planes doing aerobatics in your area. Looks fantastic.

It looks like “jet stream” that the wind has had a go at. Either that or the RAAF guys are practicing wheelies.
