I was lucky to spot this Crested Pigeon while I was in the side lane with the Nikon D3000.  It was sitting on a spacer between power lines, overhead.

    I think they are the same as the ones we have here but ours are more grey. Used to see a lot of them years ago digging around in the grass. Then they were scarce for a few years. Seem to be coming back again. I love the way they land kind of like a helicopter
