In my garden, early yesterday morning. I can’t recall seeing parrots in this ivy-covered apple tree, so methinks the visiting pair were merely testing. One had flown away before I even picked up the NikonD3000 and sneaked out the front door.

After creeping into the side yard, I behind a bush but had to come out eventually.

I was surprised, and pleased, to see I’d gotten a half-decent shot of the Crimson Rosella flying away.
