It's all about me

Mental illness and me.

Yesterday the Zero to Hero task required me to make comments on 3 blogs. I plucked up to courage to comment on a fellow Zero to Hero’s blog.  Heather, who calls her blog The Magical Thinker,  came across as a lovely girl and I love the way she writes so it was easy to make my very first comment on her blog which is now committed to “Blog For Mental Health 2014″

I didn’t get around to looking for the other two blogs to comment on. Reading Heather’s blog had set me to thinking about the effect that mental illness has played in my life.

And just as well I gave it some thought, because today Zero to Hero wants me to make a post prompted by my comment from yesterday.  Glad I made just the one after all.  For those thoughts, go here.

Catch up

I am ready to start rewriting my novel tomorrow. I have set myself a deadline to finish the first draft by the end of April (this year).  More on the WIP (Work In Progress) page.

I know that I am behind with the photos.

The first of the family history stories has gone up. I picked a story about my children’s great great grandmother on their father’s side – Elizabeth Katherine MILLARD.   I am a little overwhelmed to read that her grandfather was  Charles James Fox, MP. [Wikipedia] Westminster who was  born at 9 Conduit Street, London, the second surviving son of Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland and Lady Caroline Lennox, a daughter of Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond. Wow! Lifted the picture from Wikipedia, the man himself.

Was great great grandma telling fibs, or merely perpetuating a family myth?
