This morning. On dull mornings like this the kangaroos are usually still in the front paddock (the green one). They are those darkish smudges near the fence line.

I think our clouds get broken up a lot by all the planes during their descent into Melbourne’s Tullamarine airport.
Have a good day. 😊
Nice to join you on your morning walk Christine! 🙂

Walks are always so much more enjoyable when there are animals to look at, aren’t they?

Too right, Paula, and there are birds galore as well as the Herefords and kangaroos.

I’m usually up at 6:30 a.m. My kiddies count on me. Though I may need to visit the girls’ room at 5:00 a.m. they are patient until 6:23- when the alarm goes off. Lucky me. I’ve always had the best cat friends in the world. ❤ ❤

One of the best parts about my life is doing away with alarms. I get a shudder every time I think of those old things of the past – the ones that would jolt you awake. Since we used to work late into the night or early morning (the old days) we begin any daytime work around midday. It’s lovely to wake up naturally with the sun.
I thought cats are more likely to want to snuggle than to wake one up. Probably because my experience with cats was to always leave food available – since they aren’t like dogs and won’t make a pig of themselves. So no waking me up because they are hungry. ❤

I’m waiting for you to tell me that you feed the cows and kangaroos every day to.

Ha Ha! No, but my neighbour does feed hay to the cows when the grass is low. 🙂

Lovely walk – I need to do more of that.

I’ve been walking the dog for two years now, every morning except when she was sick after chewing on an old bone she found in the yard. (I think a crow probably dropped it). It only takes 10-15 minutes but is packed with pleasure.

I have to get back into it, but I have become lazy and full of excuses. However, my surgeon says I must, so I must!

Yes, do. You will be glad you did, though the weather is a bit on the chilly side now.

Great idea! I do have a treadmill, but I like outside better. I can go faster on the treadmill though. No running 😮

I would love to go out for a morning walk and see kangaroos. What an awesome blog post that would be!!! 🙂

It would be a bit startling for you, Joanne, for sure. The novelty hasn’t worn off on me yet. 🙂

Your a bad influence, I went for a walk this morning, only 10 minutes. Have been stiff as a board all day. I’m terribly out of shape, It was only a couple of years ago that I used to push Julius in his pram, around the neighbourhood, for miles.

Oh, did I guilt you into it, Sue. One gets out of shape really quickly – I’m fortunate my work is reasonably physical, even if it might only be three days a week.

That last photo makes me want to drop everything and move there–as if all your birds hadn’t already.

Oh Babe, I often feel ashamed of myself that that glorious patch of wilderness by the footbridge has been there for all my time living here (nearly 25 years) and I had never drank it in until two years ago! I bet you have something wonderful near you, you just have to find it. ❤

I go to several wonderful places. What the continuing drought will do to them remains to be seen. 😦

I hope you get rain soon, then.
