It is getting warm enough, apparently, for bees to think about foraging. I spotted this bee in the wattle tree down by the footbridge. Not a very colourful bee, but a bee none-the-less.
Taken on the Nokia Lumia 520, cropped and reduced in size.
This next photo was taken out my window this morning with the same camera.
I’m off to work now. Thanks for looking, and please have a good day. 🙂
I haven’t spotted any bees for ages, good to know they’re about!

One drowned in the birds’ water the other day. I hate when that happens. Thanks for dropping by, Barbara.

HI Christine, good to see some bee again, not many here now, they are almost gone, the weather is getting to cold. Your photos are great!

Thanks Elizabeth. The bees don’t cope well with cold. I really miss them. I bet I’m not lucky enough to see a return of the teddybear bees this summer. I can hope, though. Have a good day. I must put the instagram app on my phone as I rarely use this tablet’s phone. I love seeing your daily photo in my notifications each morning and your words usually remind me to be mindful for the day. >3

Saw them hovering in the bushes when I took the dog for a walk, had to pull him away before he started poking at them, they looked pretty slow moving anyway.

I only noticed this one because it flew right by my eyes while I was taking photos of the wattle – brushing up on using the close-up on the phone camera. Very slow moving, and I couldn’t see any others with it. Thanks for dropping in, Sue, hope things have settled for you now. Take care.
