The blue-banded bee is back!

This was the best I could do, today – using the FujiFilm FinePix A607 camera on macro. I had trouble photographing these native blue-banded bees before. I’m hoping their cousin, the teddy-bear bee, turns up too.  I introduced both bees back in February. I was really excited then as it was my first sighting of these big bees.

I prefer my Nokia Lumia 520 windows phone for taking macro images, but the battery is flat. 😮 I have trouble getting the FinePix lined up right.

I’m sorry I’ve neglected you all. Take care. ❤

You need to get one of those multi socket power boards and line up all the chargers every night. Great shot of the bees, rather promising for the honey industry one would think.

    • LOL. Sue, my old Nokia has a broken on/off button, and I can’t shut it off. I can start it by using the camera button. It’s supposed to turn itself off after the specified time but it keeps turning itself on for no apparent reason. I’ve resorted to taking the battery out. I must get it fixed. 🙂 We have so many bees here because of the commercial honey blokes.
