We have badly needed rain. Not enough, but ample to entice the snails out from the drains. Yesterday, in the morning, they were crawling over each other in their frolicking.
By time I decided to photograph some, l I found only one out in the open. One was all I needed.

I have a bit of a soft spot for snails (hopefully by not stepping on them) their little eyeballs are so interesting.

I hate the way they crunch underfoot. I feel so bad and hope they die instantly if stepped upon. Yeah, Claudette, their eyes on stalks are so intriguing! 😮

Yuk. Always think of dad walking around with a bucket of salt. Don’t have a soft spot for them or slugs, gobble down seedling and ruin plants. Sorry Claudette, I usually chuck them over the neighbors fence.
