Hello people, here ’tis my haiku for Ronovan Write’s Haiku Challenge #83: Gem & Flame.
I’ve used the Haiku in English form ( 5 / 7 / 5 syllables)
The two sentences:
Burning words of love flaming like gems of heartsblood.
Flaming like gems of heartsblood, my crushed valentine.
Okay, I admit they aren’t great sentences. 🙂
Image: I photographed this rose on a bed of ash especially for the challenge. I hope I captured the intended ‘feel’ of my haiku.
