A view from our walk this morning. Standing here, I get the lovely smell of fresh cut hay. At 2am, Vika felt the need to wake me for a thunderstorm. We have had half an inch (14mm) since nightfall. Much cooler weather forecast. Winter is coming.

We were supposed to get some thunder storms, but at least we got rain & it is so much cooler, as long as you leave the doors open that is. As soon as you close up the leftover heat from the bricks warms up the house. So much prefer the cooler weather, everything smells fresh.

Yes, we got 38 mm too! The dams have even got some water in them! Yay!

Yes, it’s quite a cold day today Christine. We’ve had the slow combustion fire on since last night, which is really nice after all that hot weather 🙂
