One my walk this morning, I saw lots of kangaroos in the paddocks behind our house. In the first two photos (below) the smaller kangaroo has a joey in her pouch. (Nikon D3000)

    • There were sheep up in that paddock before it was cut for hay. The square thing is one of those portable plastic water tanks in a wire cage, and I presume it uses the baths as stock troughs. We haven’t seen too many on the roads these days – plenty of feed in the paddocks now.
