It’s a few weeks ago since this Hairy Flower Wasp dropped by, briefly, while I was out and about with the Nikon D3000. It’s a year since my first sight of one of these loners.
I love the golden glint of their wings and their kidney-shaped eyes.

The diversity of the insect world is amazing. We have fixed ideas of what a fly, bee, wasp etc., are and we don’t even know the half of it.

And they like to trick us, and others, by pretending they’re wasps and bees when they’re not! These ones are though. 🙂
