This Common Brown wouldn’t spread its wings for me. If it had, I wouldn’t have noticed how one of the wings is oddly furled. There aren’t many butterflies about, though it is their breeding season.

Isn’t that odd. Obviously damaged somehow, but it looks like its coping all right.
