Yes, all the annoying insects are beneficial, man’s garbage collector. Instrumental in keeping everything in working order, breaking down bodies or rotting vegetation and taking it down to their holes, when it comes to ants and beetles. The insect world is a pretty amazing world with all they do that benefits nature.

They’re a bit bigger than a housefly, and are actually a small blowfly. I don’t see them much.

I remember blue bottle flies I think they were. Rather magnificent when the sun hits their bodies. Haven’t seen them for a long time.

I was a bit disappointed when I discovered they’re a blowfly, but apparently an asset to mankind.
