Activity in the ivy has slowed. The berries are starting to form so it won’t be long before the currawongs arrive for their annual feast. I think I ought to build a bird hide. I wonder why I haven’t done that, before now. Too lazy.

Good shot on that white butterfly. I know the whites aren’t the easiest to take, a tendency to glare

I tend to photograph them in full sunshine and wonder what went wrong. The sun hadn’t struck that patch, so I was lucky.

I have to say, the best butterfly photos I’ve had have been in shady moments. So too with white flowers
