Another foggy morn, and other stuff on my walk

Yesterday was foggy. We couldn’t see the house across the road but, by time I got out of bed, it was thinning. I took this first photo before getting dressed. (Nokia Lumia 530)

I dressed, took my blood pressure tablet, popped on my heart rate monitor, harnessed the dog, and then we went for our walk.  (click on photos to enlarge)

fog3fog6foggy4I didn’t expect the wet cobwebs to photograph so well.  I love this bit of old fence down by the creek bed.

I trust you will enjoy your weekend.   🙂

Travel Theme: Grey. (Reblog)

Memorial to the Women of World War II. Sculpted by John W. Mills. Whitehall, London. Photo: Su Leslie, 2015There are some lovely sculptures here on Su Leslie’s blog. (I was just checking one blog, and just picked a random ‘like’ on my last post to visit.)

I love the sculpture dedicated to the women of WW11. It’s really effective how they have shown just the clothing hanging – symbolic of having shouldered those responsibilities during the war, but then put them aside when the men came home.

Do pop along to Su’s blog and have a look: Travel theme: grey

(And yes, I did do this post over again – I hadn’t expected to get so much of Su’s post and all the images – so did this simple link instead.)

Magpies

Taken on the Nokia 520 a few days ago.

magpies2Today, I almost let the blank page intimidate me. But I got started on the rewrite late this afternoon. Only about 760 words, but they will flow much easier from now on.
