Today, I almost let the blank page intimidate me. But I got started on the rewrite late this afternoon. Only about 760 words, but they will flow much easier from now on.

Sure it as just a little glitch. We get maggies coming for breakfast, they give you a disgusted look when you just serve up bread.

I haven’t been feeding the cockies this week, and they landed in the tree screeching blue murder yesterday. I relented, but it took half an hour before the three of them came down. My camera arm was sore, from the waiting.

Beautiful blue skies and a wonderful shot of flight, Christine!

Thanks Barbara, we have a lovely blue sky again today and the thermometer says 13 C! Spring is springing, at last, with still most of the month to go. 🙂 Dash it all, it was blue before. I’ve just glanced out, all grey on my side of the room. (: I better bring in the washing. I must drop by your blog sooner, rather than later, Barbara. ❤

There are ranchers where I live who hate magpies, think they are pests, poison or shoot them. I adore magpies and find them beautiful, so I enjoyed this post.

They are beautiful, Janet. Our magpies are protected, but one can get the council to take care of any really dangerous birds. These ones are getting used to me, and letting me get closer – despite the dog. They’ll be nesting soon, so I better keep my eyes open. 😀 I’m glad you enjoyed the photos.
