One my walk this morning, I saw lots of kangaroos in the paddocks behind our house. In the first two photos (below) the smaller kangaroo has a joey in her pouch. (Nikon D3000)

I’ve been looking over my neighbour’s fence again, armed with the Nikon D3000. These fairy-wrens in a rose bush made my morning.

It is damp underfoot with melting frost.

I shared these photos on Wattpad today, so thought you might like a look, too.  A couple of my young followers adore Vika.  She is going on 14 1/2, and is a shiatsu, Maltese terrier, silky terrier cross. We’ve had her since she was a pup.

On these frosty mornings, I decided she needed a dog coat. I improvised.
