All these photos are of the same sulphur-crested cockatoo in rapidly changing light conditions. There were more cockies but they flew away when I came out with the camera. It was a very cold day, yesterday, with snow in lower areas than is usual. (Nikon D3000 on auto, cropped and overly-sharpened in GIMP)
I love the last image. The cockie glows in sunshine against the sullen sky.

After walking the dog this morning, I grabbed the Nikon D3000, put it on auto, and went down the side lane to take these pictures of cattle, just for you. I’m liking this theme and wanting to blog photos to see what happens with them. 🙂
