Hm. You long-sighted ? Stringer was; and he couldn’t shoot with his specs on … But if you’re talking a camera you don’t have to look through an eyepiece to operate, that’s a horse of a different colour.
I suppose I’m long sighted, M-R, as I don’t need glasses to drive or normal seeing. The camera lens is on the back, of my phone so I can ‘just’ see what I have lined up on the screen. And that screen is ten times bigger than the piddly one on my Fujifilm FinePix camera. I had the camera too close to the subject, I would say. There are other settings I can try on the phone camera, must check out what they mean. 🙂
You’re going to hate me, but … if you’d got your focus a teeny fraction sharper, this could be the closeup of the year !

Yeah I know. I point and shoot, and hope. I must start taking my specs with me so I can see! I’ll make it smaller and it will look better, a bit. 🙂

And I have an app that will take a selection of shots on the phone, and I can save the best one, I should try that next — or take the camera.
