Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is Wildlife. The most common wildlife around here, of course, is the kangaroo. All these fellows are from my blog photo archives.
The male gray kangaroo in the next images was inside our yard, 2016. Now that the grass has really dried right off in the paddocks, I notice the ‘roo droppings getting closer to the house.
Next, the kangaroo fence in a nearby street. Each cast concrete kangaroo has coloured marbles for eyes. ( Nokia Lumia 520 window phone).
I hope you enjoyed seeing these again.
Do check out Cee’s entry for this week: Wildlife
They are magnificent animals! I always enjoy your photos of them. In the close ups I am noticing they claws! Are you ever afraid of them?

Those really close ones of the gray in my yard were taken from inside the house – through the kitchen window. The claws are wicked things, and one can see how they can easily disembowel a man or dog. Thanks Christine. Oh, yes, I am wary if they look like they’re coming my way – especially if the dog is with me. I usually go without her, when intending to get some closer shots. Feel a lot safer once I got the bigger lens!

It is fascinating to me, as we do not have them like this in the United States. They do seem peaceful, but as with all wild animals, could be deadly. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

A lot of people don’t realise our sweet little animals can be extremely dangerous. Even the cuddly Koala can slash your arm open
