You know those three-tiered fibreglass garden ponds with the pebble finish and a fountain for recirculating water? I’m using the smaller uppermost one. Once all the cats turned up next door – there were about 15 at one stage, including kittens – I dismantled the pond so the cats couldn’t sneak up. I’m going to set the whole thing up in a safer spot, eventually, so there is a water source while we’re away from home.
And the wire cage thing is some random boxy tray thing I found in the shed. Popped it up there – thought I might spray-paint it one day and use as a camping shelf. 🙂
I LOVE these little birds, CJ !
That seems to be quite some bird-bath you’e got there: did Mr R make it ?
Can I see a shot of it, please ?

The best kind of bird-bath – made up on the fly. 😀

Pesky cats, perhaps a roll of chicken wire around the bottom will put them off
