Earlier today, on our walk in the side lane, a flock of cockatoos flew screeching overhead. This one decided to land. There was a bird of prey circling, so I think it was hiding from that.
When I lived in Sydney, the sulphuries chewed up the wiring on the outside of the Broadway supermarket complex so badly that it had to be completely re-wired and hidden from the little buggers. 😀
I still see the three out in the gumtree from time to time – questioning why I no longer put out seed. I did put out some when it looked like there wasn’t any feed, but the cats were eating it! Plus I didn’t want them lying in wait for the smaller birds. Plenty of natural feed about now, but in the future I think I’ll invest in bird feeders when food is scarce.
It’s definitely looking uncertain, CJ .. But possibly it’s only wondering when it’ll come across some nice, delicious wiring .. [grin]

I’ve seen them chew off the ends of thin branches and drop them on the ground. It appears to be for fun.

I didn’t answer your question, there is a large flock as well, who also remember me. 🙂

They probably watch you come out the door and mutter some nasty words about you.
