I’ve had three sessions with the wyvern. I have just the back end to do and then probably another session to finish it off. I thought I had cross-hatching to do, but that was only if I didn’t have powdered graphite for the background. I have done some on the cliff to give it texture. The cliff will need a lot more layers to make it black enough.

    Looking good, so what were you worrying about. I chap I worked with was a daughtsman and he always kept talc handy to dust his hands with if they were getting a bit oily or sweaty

    • Yeah, the talc is a good idea. I just made this pic larger and added the text which didn’t come through using the phone. I’m pleased with how it is coming along, Sue. Thanks for looking.
